Bright, fresh, mineral and crisp with aromas and flavours of apple and grapefruit, lemon and pith, some peach and white flowers. A classic oyster shell mineral quality emerges as the wine warms in glass. Crisp and dry with no oak and salivating acidity. balanced and well made with a ready to drink window from 2022 through 2025.
A lovely rich nose with aroma of black currant, blood plums, chocolate, spice, liquorice and fine pencil shaving oak. On the palate the wine is medium bodied with intense fruit flavours and excellent length. The Shiraz has excellent depth and concentration, with fine tannins. Enjoyable to drink as a young wine, it will continue to develop over four to six years.
