Description

  • Bouchard Père & Fils Beaune du Château Premier Cru is a wood-aged red wine made with the Pinot Noir variety by Bouchard Père & Fils in the AOC Beaune 1er Cru / Côte-d’Or, in Burgundy (France).

Bouchard Père & Fils is one of the oldest maisons in the Burgundy region. With one of most impressive wine histories in the area, one of this maison’s hallmarks is the variety of terroirs they own in the commune of Beune, in the legendary Côte d’Or, the best production area in this French region and the one with the greatest international fame.

Bouchard Père & Fils Beaune du Château Premier Cru comes from 17 Beaune Premier Cru vineyards chosen for their intrinsic qualities. These are old Pinot Noir vines planted in stony limestone soil and cultivated using traditional agriculture and manual harvesting at the optimum point of ripeness.

In the winery, the Bouchard Père & Fils Beaune du Château Premier Cru grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Finally, the wine ages for 12 months in French oak barrels, 25% to 35% of which are new.

Made since 1907, Bouchard Père & Fils Beaune du Château Premier Cru is a great Burgundy with more than a century of history. The perfect introduction to the exciting world of wines from this world-famous French region.
