HISTORY
Val de Roc is the personal project of Laurent Vallet, head of culture (vinegrower) of the famous Chateau Ausone de St Emilion ( Premier Grand Cru Classé in the Saint-Emilion Classification)
TERROIR AND WINEMAKING
The five-hectare sloping vineyard is located northwest of the famous village of Saint Emilion on the Right Bank of Bordeaux and is planted primarily with Merlot. Vallet combines the understanding of a native of Bordeaux’s Right Bank with the deep experience of his work with Chateau Ausone, one of the best wineries in the world.
In a vintage valued at 97PTS for Pomerol. Almost perfect and considered one of the best in the 21st century for all of Bordeaux.
