White Mischief is our exciting New World version of the more traditional styles of Gruner Veltliner. This style gives free range to the exuberant aromatics that this exciting variety has the potential to produce. The nose is bursting with mouth-watering citrus and tropical aromatics and the palate is a vibrant tumble of guava, nectarine, ruby-grapefruit and gentle spice. This is all held together with a super-juicy acidity and the all-important textural rub. Perfect with all Asian cuisine, all white meats, vegetarian dishes, seafood, and soft cheeses.
Gruner Veltliner is a variety that ages well and this wine should develop splendidly for between 7 – 10 years.
