This single malt whisky was distilled in March 2008 at the Linkwood distillery before being placed in a single refill ex-Bourbon Barrel and left to mature for much of it’s 12 year maturation period, with a Finish in a single ex-red wine cask from the Boutique Israel Flam Winery. In July 2020 it was bottled at 46% ABV as part of the 2nd Edition releases from DS Tayman. Only 384 bottles were produced.
Nose: “Baked apple, buttered crumpets,, candied orange peel with a backdrop of toasted oak
Palate: “A soft gentle sweetness with creamy vanilla, sherbet and hints of sweet red berries”
Finish: “A pinch of black pepper on strawberries, a silky mouth feel and a long spicy finish”
