In 2015, Michela and Quinn Palmer, the founders of Rootside Soda, embarked on their journey by establishing a small soda company known for its use of fresh, natural ingredients in soda syrups. Their passion for Vermouth and apéritifs was ignited through their work with Rootside. Over 2.5 years, they delved deep into botanical research, recipe development, and mead production, resulting in the launch of their Rosso Vermouth in July 2019, which quickly sold out. Their Vermouth craft garnered recognition, with the Gold award at the 2020 San Francisco World Spirit Awards and a Double-Gold Award for their Rosso Vermouth, Dry Vermouth, and Kina-Rouge in 2021. In 2023, they achieved the pinnacle of success, winning World’s Best Dry Vermouth and World’s Best Semi-Sweet Vermouth at the World Vermouth Awards, promising a future filled with more unique and delightful creations for their fans.
