Description
A wonderful expression of a fine Meursault, generous and concentrated with a nutty, buttery richness and delicate floral notes, underpinned by nuances of spice and minerality. Smooth and creamy, with beautiful balance and an impressively long, elegant finish.
The grapes come from a family plot, ‘Les Grands Charrons’, to which Philippe is particularly attached. The vines have an average age of 40 years and are grown in clay, gravel and alluvial soils. The vineyard is managed using sustainable practices, only organic fertilisers and composts are used; and chemical herbicides have not been used for over 15 years.

Complex with a ripe fruit core. The wine opens with blackcurrant, nettle, guava, lychee and passionfruit. There are subtle savoury-cedar oak notes that are so well integrated that they merely add a subtle richness to the aroma. |
Palate | Rich and full with a creamy-mineral texture and fine acidity. There are intense flavours of nettle, lime, guava, and passionfruit with subtle cedar oak. The wine has a long clean finish with refreshing acidity. A sauvignon blanc that packs fruit punch, complexity and great drinkability. |
