The first true creation from new master blender Rachel Barrie; The GlenDronach Boynsmill marries together fine PX and Oloroso sherry casks from Andalucía, Spain and Port Casks from the Douro Valley in Portugal.
Aroma: Fruit-led and complex. Plum pudding, cherry stone and apricot brandy with traces of nutmeg and sandalwood tempered by the sweetness of quince.
Tasting: Exceedingly rich and fruity with baked apricot, cherry and plum skin in a fruit cake with orange and walnut cream.
Finish: Savory dates, apricot and walnut lingering into the rich velvet finish.
