This Japanese liqueur that is made from unripe Ume fruit that is steeped in Shochu and sugar. The result is a sweet and sour liqueur that is and can be mixed with soda, green tea or just with ice. Fruity aroma with the natural acidity of plums and smooth texture.

The nose is bursting with mouth-watering citrus and tropical aromatics and the palate is a vibrant tumble of guava, nectarine, ruby-grapefruit and gentle spice. This is all held together with a super-juicy acidity and the all-important textural rub. Perfect with all Asian cuisine, all white meats, vegetarian dishes, seafood, and soft cheeses.
Gruner Veltliner is a variety that ages well and this wine should develop splendidly for between 7 – 10 years.
