An excellent Pinot Gris from the Adelaide Hills made from a mix of free run juice and 10% pressings, with half the free run juice fermented in French oak, the rest in stainless steel. The pressings are fermented in older oak, before the three components are blended. A very pale lemon hue, the nose is beautifully fragrant. Hints of citrus and spices, lemon, grapefruit, pears and stewed apples. Thanks to a seductive texture with impressive length, this really is one of the most delicious examples of Pinot Gris yet encountered this year.
