Hendrick’s broke with conventions in 1999 by using a marriage of two types of gin distillate to create one gin, oddly infused with rose and cucumber.

Hendrick’s Gin hails from the tiny seaside village of Girvan, Ayrshire, in south west Scotland and from these curious beginnings, Hendrick’s Gin successfully created and leads the super-premium gin category. Helping spearhead the gin renaissance, it is now enjoyed by a growing legion of individuals in more than 90 countries around the world.

Hendrick’s Gin is based upon a proprietary gin recipe of classic botanicals to which both a floral ensemble and some deeper spices are added to round out the recipe. All of our botanicals face scrupulous analysis by our Master Distiller, Lesley Gracie and when combined with the soft lowland water of the Penwhapple Reservoir and our curious yet marvelous infusions of rose and cucumber, it’s the perfect formula for our delectable gin.

Only eight toiling hands work together in our gin palace to produce Hendrick’s Gin in miniscule 500 litre batches each time. Hendrick’s started as small batch and hand crafted in 1999 and it is the way it will remain.
