Barossa Shiraz sure has evolved. Historic Turkey Flat has been renowned for rich powerful Shiraz for decades and now, under the Butchers Block label, they release delicious, softer expressions which are a delight to drink.

This only a light-to medium bodied red that features a nice combo and red and black fruits, some bbq meaty aromas, and a smooth, silky palate. There’s some whole bunch inclusions to give grip and interest in this early-picked style of Shiraz.

All up, it’s a Barossa-good-time wine that could age for a few years but goes down a treat right now.
