The history of the Jelinek family factory from Vizovice dates back to 1894. For over a hundred years, Czech slivovitz has been known almost all over the world, although the tradition of the so-called “burners” from Eastern Moravia is over 400 years old. The first written evidence of the existence of a distillery that belonged to the Vizovice nobility dates back to 1585.
